it's been awhile since i've blogged. i realised i dun have the discipline to do so.

but at times, i realised i've nothing really interesting to blog about.

even so, i've twitter for me to 'record' down the latest 'updates' of me instantaneously. as for photos, i've facebook for me to upload.

both mode of 'blogging' seems to be simpler than using blogger.

well, it's either i'm too lazy or i'm just plain retarded when it comes to anything tech-savvy.

anyway, i reckon those who are interested in my life probably have my facebook or twitter. at least twitter & facebook has higher privacy, erm, not that i'm some big shot or whoever that everyone damn gian to know about la.

so, you can just view it from there! haha!

as of now, i'm still doing well.

i hope it stays this way though. =))

a little photo update on recent events...

1 of the wednesdays, went to support Charles, Sherri's love.

    photographer with shaky hands.

    huge cameras.

    many lights.

didn't stay till the whole thing. needa pick my parents from the airport.

1 of the fridays, celebrated Oct birthdays.

eat and sing, till FULL la.

CK knows when to look at cameras.

    i know. i extra. haha!

    birthday boys!

    machiam cut wedding cake la.

    everyone!

    11:15 AM

    Friday, October 30, 2009

my newest baby for my birthday! ok, i know my bday's like still a month away.

    oh?

    hurhur!

thanks lots, baby! love ya lots! =P

    Sunday, October 25, 2009

sunday night, a time i dun really like. simply cause, it's Monday tomorrow la. haha!

well, i'm not really a person who loves my job to the core. i just love the money (but an increment would be perfect), benefits and the environment. oh well, that's good enough i suppose?

you can't get the best of everything.

last week, i was up in msia again. long weekend, what ya expect me to do in sg? hehs.

headed up to Klang for Bak Kut Teh, for lunch.

    you make your own tea.

    you 'sterilize' your cups.

    random.

    heavenly. best.

    fairly good.

the usual for Bak Kut Teh.

after which, drove to KL, Mid Valley to shop. luckily there was some warehouse sales going on, lotsa cheap stuff la! nice.

drove further up to Kuala Selangor. main motive was to see fireflies! ok, i know i very suaku, 1st time see fireflies. but seriously, where can you see such stuff in sg?

we went here for dinner. some very ulu place, think kampong style area with minimal street lights.

anyway, we went there for this! uber nice can.

    fireflies, after that.

they looked like tiny light bulbs la. chio leh.

i dunno why they appear green in pictures, but they were white lights when i saw them.

this is how it looked like in light. just a normal looking bug. oh, this chap flew onto our water bottle and we brought it into the car. haha!

    the GG met, on Tue.

    sherri & i.

    the 2 bimbos. oops.

    my cuppa.

we're going for Halloween! the next question would be where la. erm, i hope no one put plane 1st lo. haha!

today, went to Suntec cause Chan Brothers had this travel fair and all. when we got there, other agencies were having such a fair too.

well, since the shutdown is confirmed (99%), bf and i decide to just take it as a positive way, go on a trip la.

anyway, it was PACKED la. so many people la. even the dates that we were keen in, were ALL booked. blame it on that super peak season la (xmas & NY).

come to think of it, s'poreans really very loaded. all can go holiday until 3 -4 agencies fully booked.

    on a lighter note...

jojo's virgin visit to ECP! he was a good boy lo. hurhur.

time to really search for jobs. it's serious liao.

    11:29 PM

    Wednesday, October 14, 2009

boss just sent an email from our managing director. apparently, there'll most likely be a year end shutdown again. last year like that, this year also. wth la.

wait pay freeze again and all again. what's the point of me staying in the coy man!

it's not like i'm in this field or whatever too. why should i 'suffer' with this coy/industry?

time to seek for better prospects? or.. just wait & see? sighs.

the result of not studying hard/smart enough. sheesh.

was blog surfing. saw a couple of blogs by those 'models', 'race queens', etc.

most of them have thick makeup, long long hair (that covers 20% of their faces), skinny and heavily edited photos (the invention of PS & other photo editing programs is just like godsend la!).

so, in s'pore, that's deemed as beauty? no wonder i'm ugly la!

cause i dun have very thick makeup, no long long hair, definately far from skinny and i dunno how to use PS (time to learn).

or perhaps beauty is just how much you can modify your exterior? the inside doesn't really matter in this case?

well, we do have a national example right? oops.

ok, i've mirrors at home. i ought to look at myself before saying others.

    HAHA!

oh, do you remember this show? brings back memories man. school stuff, irritating parents, BGR, etc.. AWWW! time flies...

    11:48 AM

    Tuesday, October 13, 2009

didn't blog for awhile. well, it's either there's nothing interesting enough to blog about or i'm simply too lazy la. haha!

i shall do a quick update.

i attended my cousin's wedding on 1 of the Saturdays. more weddings to come. Zida's on 5 Dec, Bryan's ROM on 23 Jan, bf's bro's on 31 Jan. seems like 2009 is a good year~

    my family with my niece.

    our table.

my cousin (the groom) & his wife~

i went to Siem Reap, Cambodia late Sep.

it's a nice place. i strongly suggest to all schools to bring their students there! s'pore kids ought to learn how lucky they're. sheesh.

a couple of pictures. all of them are in FB long ago~ haha!

    reached.

we had a driver for the whole trip.

child sex tourism is a problem there.

    our room.

stairs that i climbed alot during this trip.

    overgrowth of vegetation.

    and another.

    the famous Angkor Wat.

    random insides of it.

    random building.

from above a random temple. there are ALOT of such temples there.

the nightlife of Siem Reap. not as much as SG.

    some pub.

booze is cheap! USD0.65 per can. the cheapest we had was USD0.50, and the most expensive was USD0.75. haha!

attempted to watch sunrise. but.. there were too many clouds.

    random.

    more temples.

    from above.

    lotus.

there used to be many many landmines in Cambodia.

    mines.

    temple.

    inside.

    street at night.

random dinner place. food is generally good and cheap there.

    random breakfast place.

hair salons in the wet market.

just a wall apart from the salons.

a typical wet market that sells the typical stuff.

    on the road.

    roads.

    roadside stalls.

    temple.

    Khmer kid.

experience a little flooding on our way to Tonle Sap

Tonle Sap. it's a huge lake, with people living on it.

    a provision shop.

    this means, no overtaking.

a wonderful doctor who built hospitals in Cambodia to provide free medical services for children. he's godsend.

on our way to the airport (going home), it rained.

the inside of Siem Reap airport. small but chio.

no more trips for the time being. needa save. haha!

no 灵感 to write anything leh. tsk.

    1:52 PM

    Tuesday, September 15, 2009

random pictures of the recent days.

had korean food at the all time fav place.

    nice carbo.

    soupp~

    pork & sotong.

    we went for pizza.

    engrossed in dunno what.

with damn thin crust. however i think we chose the wrong toppings.

    saw a partially covered moon.

and we bought a new toy. life-sized and damn cute.

haven't been blogging much. nothing much to blog anyway. haha!

going up to Msia this long weekend. damn looking forward to the weekend.

Siem Reap next Thurs. another thing that i'm damn looking forward.

my hair's growing real slow man. tsk.

    4:05 PM

    Monday, August 31, 2009

i was in Msia for the weekend. thankfully...
    1. my boss let me off early on Friday. left office at 4pm.
    2. CK drove us to Larkin, which saved us quite a bit of time in awaiting for buses. so nice of him.
    3. managed to get a ticket in time.

decided to head up to KL side instead of staying all the way in Mlk. traveled almost 500km, and i managed to experience 160km/h in a car. seriously you can't really drive at 160km/h in SG. even before you start to increase to 120km/h, most prob...
    1. you'll reach a traffic light.
    2. there're too many cars in front.
    3. there's a hump.
    4. tons of cameras awaiting to take that lovely shot of your car plate number.
    5. someone will chase you from behind and guide you to safety.

ok, let the pictures do the talking.

totally no talent in self shots.

    improved..

    chuu~

start! the usual Msia highway journey.

    KL airport. haha!

didn't go in. just drove pass.

entering putrajaya. the town where all the ministries are.

the 1st white onion we saw. (no offence.)

    random building.

it's really cheap there. in SG, it's SGD3.90. in Msia, it's RM3.90. see the difference?

their botanical gardens, called taman botani.

not much nice foral and fauna.

came across this 'structure'/building. dunno what's it for.

but got chio chio fountain and all.

    =P

    the inside.

    the insideee.

    nice floor.

need to pay to enter. so.. we didn't enter. HAHAHA.

the 'need to pay money' section. i just stand outside and snapped. haha!

    the entrance.

pink onion! i find this very 'abu dhabi'-ish. in fact, the whole place looks pretty 'abu dhabi'-ish la. a mixture of chio modern structures and traditional ones. not to mention, the place is like DEAD. minimal people and cars in the strees lo! scary.

    random bridge.

    green onion.

    some.. highway?
chio bridge. looked like the 1 in HK.

    modern buildings.

nice (huge!) houses by the 'lake'.

    hello, Kajang!

    old chinese buildings.

our motive for coming into Kajang. SATAY!

    more onions!

the 'kopitiam' we had our satay.

    another shot.

how they 'peng gang' the satay.

we drove further, and ended up in Sunway. haha!

bf asked me to take this. so that to prove that i got come to Sunway. haha!

bf planning for another roadtrip in Msia during Hari Raya. where should we go? hmm.
    i love roadtrips. haha!
why is SG so tiny? sheesh.

    Friday, August 28, 2009

i was a little disturbed after watching this.

Msia and SG are almost the same, we have many races living together.

if you notice the film, the boy was going to the police station as a witness. but why did the news report it as 'there were no witnesses'? the boy told his dad that there were 3 boys hitting that malay boy, but why was the number of suspects reported as 4?

somehow, it made me think whether SG might be 'working' this way.

well, i'm pretty sure SG's not. i hope so...? (ok la, i'm like pretty confident la.)

i'm not trying to bring 'race' into the topic. it's the bias here i'm thinking about. perhaps we dun have a 'superior' race or whatever here, but there's bound to be some sterotyping around.

eg: boy from broken family and boy from rich family. if both kena caught for shop-lifting, who will you think is the thief at the very 1st instance?

    go figure.

anyway.... it seems like, being honest at times or attempting to help at times, might inflict more trouble on you at times.

so, good to mind your own biz? it'll be deemed as a selfish act though. haha!

    on a lighter note...

i'm going Msia later. haha! will be back on Sunday.

    yeah, the usual. hurhur.

this is how you kill in a halal way?

can you see certain hidden meanings?

    10:05 AM

    Monday, August 24, 2009

despite working in the company for a year, i've never really see/feel/own a product of my coy's.

till last week, CK brought in bags/trays of rejects. and, i manged to lay my hands on a couple.

this is what my coy does. manufacturing stuff that 'runs' your electrical stuff, in various shapes & sizes. haha!

closer. i dun think i'll get into any trouble for posting this up right? i bet you google my coy, you'll get some pics of my coy's chips la. heh.

it had been awhile since i made my way down town on a Saturday. yeah, squeezing around and all.

it had also been awhile since i ate 'The Soup Spoon'. i used to have it pretty often when i was working in that law firm. haha! love it man. i'm really quite a soup person.

    chicken & mushroom wraps.

mushroom soup. slurps. i had pumpkin soup though, but i kinda messed it up by eating it before snapping. too tempted by the food liao. haha!

i forgot the exact name of this. all i can recall it's made of chickpeas.

bf snapped. and yes, i realised my top's like falling off.

check out my eye bags. wah lau.

    slacked around town for awhile.

headed down to Dbl O after that, meet up with Karine & Zack. wah, the last time i went was like... FEB? haha! i still prefer Dbl O la, simply cause.. drinks are cheap. haha!

we came to know this 'couple' there. notice the ' '? yah, they're not in a r/s and the guy said that their r/s is complicated. ohwells, their issues la. haha! they met thru SDU. HAHAA! yes, there.

i used to have this perception that people who join or are in SDU, are those perhaps a little physcial challenged or 'number' challenged. i had a colleague who joined SDU and told me that the men there cmi. but then, this 'couple' fits nothing into my perception of 'people in SDU'. pardon me for being so frank. in case you're wondering about their age, the guy's 35 and the girl's 31. and, they looked NOTHING like their age. can easily thought that they're in the less than 30 range. hehs.
dunno why my colleague never seem to meet the nicer/better ones. perhaps the problem lies with her? oops. *dun be rude, priscilla
so, all singles out there! perhaps SDU might be an okay choice of searching for your SO. haha! even not, you can like.. widen your social circle? heh.

are you willing to 'cut' for a better future?

    1:28 PM

    Friday, August 14, 2009

i've decided not to upload my HK pics here. too many. they're all in FB anyway. haha!

    but i wanna upload this...

    thanks baby..! =))

it's been half a year since we've been together. i'm really damn happy that it did all worked out. i've no complains, no regrets.. for now. oops. =P

thanks for taking care of me all this while & of course, giving in to me.

apologises for my bad temper and anything/everything i had ever done to make you unhappy.

these are the times, when i sit down and think, 'damn, i'm like the luckiest girl around.'

    HAHAHAHA.

ok, i'm not very good with words...

    love ya lots..~ =))

    10:34 AM

    Thursday, August 13, 2009

hi all! i'm back from the back from the land of “买东西,吃东西”!

part of the pics are already in FB. i'm still struggling to upload the other half. FB connection got problem. tsk. been trying for 130927830927403 times and still cannot la! kns. WTF.

still thinking if i should upload it here. just to 'beautify' my blog a little. but then, 200+ pics, i needa consider sia.

so, how's my trip? well, it was great apart from the weather. it was hot and stuffy la. just when you think SG weather sucks, you should 'feel' HK's. hehs.

a weigh gain is a definate. imagine eating most of the time, and not forgetting suppers every night. haha!

a big hole in the pocket is also another sure thing. in total, about $1.5k was spent on this trip. gonna scrimp & save till i get some capital back. not forgetting i've another trip next month and i kinda promised bf that i'll go on a long trip with him next year. yeah i know, next year's a long way but, bear in mind i dun have much money to begin with. i need ample time to save. hehe! well, unless sg pools is willing to sponsor some to me la. hiak hiak.

i've nothing else to update. nothing interesting ever since i came back (erm, i came back on like... Tue morning 12am? haha!).

oh, Jap buffet with bf this Sat. i won that. hiak hiak. looking forward. slurps. =))

    3:44 PM

    Wednesday, August 05, 2009

will be flying to the land of dimsum tomorrow at 645am. which means, i needa reach airport at like 4+am? WTH.

will be back on Monday. hopefully i get to spend every single HK$ i have. hiak hiak. well, not that i changed a lot of HK$ la. hehs.

last week, the GG met up, without sherri though. she was down with a flu. due to the H1N1, all doctors will advise you to stay home for 3 days. so, being a socially responsible citizen, our dear sherri had decided to stay home and rest.

can you sense the sacarsm? haha! ok la, she was really ill la. good to rest. =)

anyway, we went to Robertson Quay for ramen.

    tadah!

the ramen was HUGE la! the amount of beansprouts are like FREE? it's nice though, but i couldn't even finish half of it. haha!
    walked down to Liang Court.

this pushcart store sells a lot of interesting gifts!

like.. this! not Yumin though, the thing that she's holding. haha!

belle and i bought a little something for the bfs.

i hope i get to 'complain' this man. rather than 嫁不出去.

ok, i admit i love reading people's blogs, looking at people's facebook.

    i love mine too!

    erm...

if JJ ever does any of the above, you know where she got her ideas from.

    GH alert.

after that, we all headed home.

as for me, i chop chop rush home, and proceeded to surprise the bf!

    happy bday loves!

i thought a simple cake would be nice?

the very next day, we went Jumbo Seafood for his bday dinner.

    random

    some duck thingy.

    veggie.

    CRABS!!!!!

    all cleared!

    the look of satisfaction.

the very next day, a little surprise awaited him. i told him we'll be meeting my friends at Timbre.

but in actual fact, i already gathered our colleagues there! hahaha! just a note, it's damn hard to book seats in Timbre la. tsk.

    all, but Erwin.

    pizza!

    happpy birthdayyy~

    everyone!

can you see someone familar in this pic (apart from the bf)?
yes, Charlene! haha! i'm quite prone to bumping into her as compared to the others. we both commented that the rest dun seem to go out. hahaha!

helpful BFF cutting the cake. haha!

and we bought him a flaming tower. no kick for him. sheesh. wasted.

    CK.

    BFF dunno doing what.

    and, Erwin.

ok, back to work. i've tons of stuff to complete before i leave for HK.

    hope i have fun! =))

    10:31 AM

    Monday, July 27, 2009

it's a Monday, and i'm at home! haha! ok, no comments on that. just say, i've a MC for it k?

i love slacking at home in such a weather. aww. nice.

somemore, there's no one home! i can sing my lungs out with itunes. haha! hope no one complains.

was in Msia for the weekend. the usual stuff, except i went to dye my hair. the person kinda trim it a little too toot for my liking. so, now i looked horrible actually. according to the bf, i looked like a mushroom and he's enjoying himself by calling me that.

i'll be refraining myself from taking any pictures till my hair grows out. haha!

i'm seriously damn looking forward to my HK trip. hiak hiak.

then it's Cambodia after HK. i really love travelling i should say. apart from the money issue. eeuk.

2 weekends ago, bf and i decided to head down to the Southern Ridges thingy.

    random pictures as follows.

poor little guy. stranded by the roadside of Tiong Bahru.

that's the poor guy. when we returned from lunch, he's gone!

    the 'oh-so-famous' henderson waves.

    yah, this again.

Kent Ridge Park. the place where i swallowed 5 cheesecakes. EEUK.

    nice 'hairy' trees.

rode all the way to 'dunno where'. came across this reservoir.

it's smack in the middle of those heavy industries area la.

yah. the proof to tell you that it's PUB property.

Kent Ridge duck rice for dinner. nice leh. haha!

oh oh! my colleague will be expecting a baby girl! haha! means, i won the bet. hiak. free jap buffet here i come! WAHAHAHA.

ok, time to wash hamster cage? i'm so damn lazy la. tsk.

    2:37 PM

    Tuesday, July 14, 2009

i think i'm addicted to Twitter. i practically 'tweet' whatever that i see or comes into my mind. and the fact that i've very few followers, i can 'tweet' whatever i want, truthfully.

ain't that good? at last a spot for me to voice out, with sufficient (and the correct) people 'listening' without offending most 'other' people.

not that whatever i 'tweet' is damn interesting or what la. i'm just saying la.

pity my followers, they see all my rants and what-nots. HAHAHA! TOO BAD.

blogs, facebook, those are a little too public imo. sometimes, one just need somewhere along the 'public' and 'private' line.

perhaps i should switch to LJ, cause LJ can separate public and private post unknowingly to others right? or wrong? hmm..

argh, means i've to learn from scratch. tsk. i'm not very 'technology'-inclined.

so, it's that day of the month again. what's new? erm, nothing. yeah, really nothing. as usual like any other days.

    Monday, July 13, 2009

no 'express' transport for me this week. the bf's on course, thus i needa take public transport to the pick up point of my coy transport.

i waited for 25 mins for a bus at my place la! there were like 4 buses i'm able to take and none came! if i can only take 1 bus, and i waited that long, i no comments, perhaps bad traffic or whatever. but 4 different buses?! WTH. tell me about promoting the use of public transport sia. from my place to the pick up point is only 5 bus stops away (journey time about 10 - 15 mins), but due to waiting time, the total amount of time used i'm able to already reach office la. kns.

thank goodness i managed to catch the 2nd coy bus (there were 2 buses, the other comes/leaves 5-10 mins later.). imagine if i missed it, perhaps i needa wait another 25 mins for a public bus to work? sheesh.

well, it's either i'm too spoil or there's a problem with SBS. tsk.

i better leave house earlier tomorrow. who knows how long i've to wait?

on Friday, it was i first every visit to 老北京 for dinner. there was this set promo, $19.90++ for like 6 dishes.

the food was not bad imo. but if there were no promo, i might not find it worth? hehe!

八宝茶. 1 cup for $3 hor.

some preserved veggies which i finished the whole plate myself.

    soup. simple but nice.

    tofu and veggie.

    peking duck.

    do do, wrap wrap.

    EAT it then.

小笼包。the skin a bit too thick for my liking.

some noodles. the soup is not bad, but the noodles were too rubber-ry.

    cocktail jelly.

we headed to the National Museum after that.
some night festival going on. there was free entry to the museum and shows! haha! FREE leh. oops.

    the National Museum of Singapore

    pink tanks.

    it was damn packed!

    i thought this was nice.

i realised we dun really have many photos together. guess both of us are not really the 'photo' type. haha!

    random.

    random.

i used to have this at my grandma's place.

    snap.

tell me about bulky SLRs sia.

    yums.

    random.

    random.

bf was telling me that he used to sell these to his friends/neighbours. haha! *tikam tikam?

dunno what the hell this is.

    this too!

is there anything wrong with this passage?

    random.

    random.

    random.

    random.

the speakers were falling. there were people trying to hold it up. also, trying to catch the staffs' attention with flashes (from cameras and handhones) and shouts. however, the staffs took quite a bit of time to arrive. what's their communication devices (walkie talkies?) for? oops.

show started. tons of people around.

    the building changed colors!

    leaves covering.

    leaves covered.

    purple.

the lady in the wheel looked like my hammies running on theirs. haha!

    fireworks!

    booom~

    wow~

    finale.

seriously, i dunno what was the show trying to portray though it was trying to say something. it was a nice fireworks show anyway. hehe!

    i had a family-based weekend.

Sat was a younger cousin's birthday. Sun was the usual family dinner.

i was reading 我报 this morning and there was this forum section. someone wrote in about, 'Filial piety reduced to dollars & cents'. somehow, i do agree in that.

i heard my cousins/relatives saying (or bragging) what they/their kids got for them, blah blah. like, my cousin paid for her parents' vacation, my cousin bought his parents a car, blah blah. all those la. then when my mum was like commenting about certain stuff, my relatives will say, 'ask your daughter to sponsor you la. already working, got money liao what.'

i mean seriously, it irritates me la. it made me think, being filial or nice to your parents, is the amount of money you spent on them. the more moolah you 'invest', the more you love your parents. maybe because i'm financially incapable to buy my dad a car, or buy my parents a holiday thus i'm feeling that 'pinich'. well, i hope my parents know that i'm financially incapable, not i dun want lo. and i dun find it necessary to brag to all about how much i spent on my parents or vice versa.

seems like, S'pore is really as materialislic and superficial as what most 'outsiders' are thinking. haha!

    it's a monday. guess i'm just plain cranky. =/

    10:46 AM

    Friday, July 10, 2009

was in town yesterday after work.

the main motive was to get stuff from Tangs. they had that 12% rebate for citibank cardholders. hehe! when there's sales, there's Priscilla. Oops.

well, i'll always try to get stuff during sale. call me cheapo, i dun care. i would rather deem that as being 'economical'. hhaha!

anyway, was having dinner at BK and we had a little visitor.

can you spot the bird? yes, there was a bird in BK. if it's a kopitiam, birds are common. but in BK, an air con fast food joint? hmm.. not very common. i was like munching on my Mushroom Swiss, and go 'BIRD BIRD!'. hahaha! stupid, i know.

Orchard Road would be very pretty after all the construction had been done. Orchard Ion has already been lighted up and all. and this caught my eye..

new LV store! 2 storeys i think?

so now, you've like 4 LV stores nearby (Hilton, DFS, Ion & Taka). why the hell you need so many LV stores in such short distances?

will be catching the National Museum Night shows later. i heard it was nice and all. never been to 1 before either. oh, the main attraction of it, is that it's FREE!

    hello, cheapo Priscilla. hiak hiak.

i'm hungry. *shrugs. i'm forever hungry. how to downsize sia? ohwells, life's short, dun make life too difficult la. wanna eat what just eat! who knows in future, all meats/veggies cannot be eaten how? hahaa!

    11:30 AM

    Tuesday, July 07, 2009

a random friend commented that my life is getting a little too dull and boring based on my blog. i dun seem to go out, do stuff or whatever.

well, the fact is i dun blog them out! haha! in the past, i blogged about almost every shit of my daily doings. like, where i go, what i do. but i'm beginning to feel that it's like a bit redundant to do so.

eg: i went Suntec with the bf last weekend.

like seriously, if we were there for a simple meal and some shopping, i dun see the 'interesting part' to be blogged? haha! most people goes to town on weekends for meals and window shopping, which explains why town is always so damn packed on weekends la.

even if i were to be in Malacca for the weekend, i dun see the 'interesting part' for me to write about. simply because it's like a norm for me to be there. oops. yah yah, i'm like a Msia PR, i know i know. (i just love the damn shiok feeling of earning SGD and spending RM can? haha!)

well, of course there're other scenarios. perhaps something interesting happened? or something interesting i bought? (i'll go to that later.)

i'm not trying to blame/scold/niao my random friend, he/she was like genuinely giving a comment, not trying to be sarcastic or whatever. i'm just expressing my personal views. oh, no offence to people who blogged the way i mentioned.

ok, now to the 'somewhat-interesting' part.

went to Suntec on Saturday, main objective was to have Sizzler's salad bar. then, realised that WCG (world cyber games) was on, so off we went to kpo. fyi, the bf is crazy over Dota. i'm cool with that, i rather him playing dota in home then 'running' around. oops.

i knew that there was something like a cyber game Olympics sorta stuff but i've never seen it before la. those players are from all over Asia and are damn professional la. they brough their own 'gear' all the way from their homeland.

anyway, for Dota, Vietnam came in 1st, Msia 2nd and Sg 3rd. i was telling the bf, perhaps this is the only 'sport' that Sg sent 'S'poreans' to compete. *acts stupid.

i took pictures, but they were not really nice. will upload them when/if i remember.

was shopping in the supermarket 1 fine day and this caught my eye.

low fat coffee with collagen? a drink that's good for your skin, keeps you awake and yet low in fat! wah, got so good or not? ok, i knew it was a sales gimmick and all... but... i still bought it la.

erm, it's not really nice imo. little too milky and not strong enough for me. it has this weird taste which i think it's the collagen's taste? no idea. but i'm going to finish it, dun waste. iirc, it's like $6++ for 20 sachets.

i realised i've learnt to past ugly comments. well, i've always been used to receiving ugly comments (eg: you gained weight, your face so many pimples, your hair quite cui, etc..). the auntie friend came along and asked me how was her new top.

i commented, 'you should pull it down. make it like an off-shoulder top.'

she replied, with her usual utmost teh voice, 'huhh.. but... i dun want want leh...' ,then she gave that 'act-cute-kissing-lips' expression. (you know what i meant la. i can provide a demo if you dun get it.)

i replied, 'okay lo. it looked auntie now btw.'

    end.

TMD, i'm getting damn unfriendly. bad.

    Friday, July 03, 2009

let's summarise the life of priscilla in the past week.

    1) i adopted a hamster.

got to know it through forums. when i got her, she was larger than my girlgirl and looked nothing like an abandoned hamster. i supposed the person who housed them temporary fed her damn well. haha!

    2) i bought iPhone.

i know, 'why dun wait for the new 3Gs?'. that comment had been coming out from almost everyone who knew i bought it. well, simply cause, i reckon that 3Gs might not be as cheap as the current iPhone. fyi, i got this iPhone for free as my mum's plan's the high end kind. i dunno if this applies to 3Gs when it's launched. anyway, i compared the difference between 3G and 3Gs, to me, as i'm not very into technology, i feel with or without those extras won't bring much of an impact to me.

anyway, i'm loving my phone now. at last i've a 'poke poke' phone, and not to mention, a pretty smart phone. hiak hiak.

so, apparently there's only 2 'somewhat-major' updates in me. haha!

    oh,

    pic credits to purseblog.com

    so cute..! hahaha! *starts dreaming~

    Tuesday, June 23, 2009

1 week ago, the GG met for dinner.

    pictures credit to JJ.

    full attendence.

    yumin and belle.

JJ, me and Sherri. when i still had long hair. haha!

    snap and snap.

cause JJ bought new camera la. haha!

when i looked at the photos, somehow i see that i'm aging la. it's really 岁月不留人 lo. upset. i'm really an 'aunty-gonna-be'.

    3:27 PM

    Sunday, June 21, 2009

1st, happy fathers' day to all dads out there. haha!

apparently my parents had their own programs, so i'm all alone at home now. well, it's a good time for me to catch up with my home, haven't been home most of time lately. haha!

the weekend was a relaxing one, nothing happening or whatever for me. erm, save money la. oops.

oh, friday was an interesting night!

it was the 1st time i saw sooo many bikes in S'pore.

    wah.

    so many sia!

    so, where did i go?

i went to S'pore Turf Club! haha! my virgin visit. bf and i had nowhere to go, so decided to tag on with my parents! haha!

the usual 'big tv' you'll see for horse racings.

    the tracks.

    the horses.

    gonna start~

    run!!

    hiak hiak.

the population in there was huge la! it seems like... gambling is a common and well-liked hobby to most s'poreans. haha!

in the end, bf lost $4. haha! bet small small, for the fun of it.

Saturday was a 'travel' day. the initial plan was to just have teochew porridge at Kovan, so we went. having nowhere to head, we decided to go to Jurong Point. haha! yes, all the way to the extreme west. since JP revamped itself, thought that perhaps should just go down see see look look. in case you dun remember, i spent 3 years hanging out at JP man. haha! and yes, it has changed quite a bit, it's alot bigger now and alot more stuff.

later in the evening, mummy called asking if wanna join them for dinner at Parkway Parade. having no plans, we headed down. so it's like, from central to west, then west to east, lastly east back to central. wah lau. haha!

ok, i'm going to have sushi now. bought them from NTUC just now. hehs.

    work tomorrow. crap. eeuk.

    7:03 PM

    Friday, June 19, 2009

after 10 years, i've decided to snip my hair off.

    tadah!

    pardon me for the ‘大小眼’look.

many commented that it looked nice, fresh. some also commented that long hair better and all. of course there're some 'not-so-nice' comments.

let me have the honour to share with you then. hurhur.
    1. 'in front not bad la. but behind very auntie leh.'
    2. 'you cut this hair, like machiam pregnant liao. you know when girls get pregnant, so hard to keep long hair, so go cut it short leh.'
    3. 'auntie~'

oh, these comments were from the same person and apparently he/she's older (by a fair bit in actual fact) than me. somehow i think after you meet him/her, you'll be wondering what the hell is this person? oops. ok, i'm equally evil. *slaps mouth

well, i didn't regret cutting my locks. i feel, since i've always been in long hair, gotta take a shot and go short! even if it turns out bad, hair can always grow back. haha! but, sibeh heng that it turned out okay. haha!

hopefully a new hairstyle will bring me more luck. hurhur.

anyone wanna try this song in ktv with me? HAHAHA!

i think i cannot reach 戴爱玲's pitch lo. haha!

    1:28 PM

    Tuesday, June 16, 2009

when i got home yesterday night, i saw this letter addressed to me.

wah, i saw the 'On Govt Svc', i kena shocked sia. i didn't apply any govt stuff lately. the 1st few i thoughts were 'what offence did i commit?' and 'i need to serve the army?'. haha!

    when i opened it.....

wah piang. SDU offering me complimentary SDU-SDS membership. HAHA! seems like the govt is worried that i'll be single for life lo. even i get married or not they also wanna bother sia. tsk tsk. well, are they going to provide subsidy my wedding expenses in that case?

i'll be automatically 'enrolled' in it if i dun reply them by end June. interesting.

perhaps S'pore is really facing a serious population problem. *shrugs

ok, end with with a song.

    3:34 PM

    Monday, June 15, 2009

ok folks. a monday, not very exciting leh. haha! so usual for me.

i'm seriously waiting for the day which i'll be damn excitied for a monday. HAHA.

work hasn't been kind to me lately. a couple of hiccups here and there. sighs. hope all these crap will go off in a poof!

the weekend was nice. my family went up to malacca, and obviously he brought them around. the whole trips consisted mainly of food and lottery. haha! so typical of my family. oops.

my knee has been giving problems again. dunno what the hell i did again. i dun remember doing any sports (HAHA?) or hurting myself. it's a sign. old liao. sheesh.

will be cooking dinner tonight again. dun 'siao siao' hor. last week i managed to do proper plate of veggie lo, bf the picky eater mentioned it's nice can. haha! i dun think he's trying to save himself or give correct answer la. even if he is, i personally feel it's nice leh. especially when it's done by someone like me. i myself also surprised can. i think i'm just a little luckier that day.

erm, in case you're unaware, i'm totally not very inclined in cooking. i can practically name you the things i know how to 'cook'. notice the ' ', cause i reckon those things i know how to 'cook' are not even called 'cooking' to some people. eg: instant noodles, plain rice and eggs? haha! some people might feel that that's 'expected knowledge'.

but still, not everyone is borned knowing everything. and of course, not everyone is good in everything. even my mum doesn't cook! so, i dun think you can expect much from her 'product'? haha!

tonight will play with something else. haha!

i'm so sian now. how? hmm.

    3:19 PM

    Friday, June 12, 2009

since i couldn't get to go aussie, i've decided to head up to Cambodia. haha! air tickets booked, all thanks to Jetstar having promo. yay. tickets to siam reap at around $130. hehe! will be leaving on 24 Sep, returning on 27 Sep.

yeah, i know Sep, still long way. well, if you want cheaper tickets, it's always that case.

wanted to visit Phnom Penh too actually, pretty interested in the Tuol Sieng Genocide Museum, the place where the Khmer Rouge tortured their prisoners (you can wiki or google for more info). but then, apart from that, i heard that there's nothing much else in Phnom Penh, so, decided to skip it la. had the thought of heading to Phnom Penh from Siam Reap, but via bus it'll be a 6 hour journey, sheesh, forget it. haha!

so, i reckon it's only 'Angkor Wat, here i come!' HAHAHA!

oh, something interesting on Jetstar i found out yesterday when i booked my tickets.

i was happily doing all the bookings and when i got the confirmation part regarding my bookings and payments, i realised they didn't ask for my passport numbers and all those details! they only asked for my name. so, i panicked a little and called jetstar straight. apparently, now jetstar only requires your name (as per your passport)! you can say that now booking a flight is like buying a bus ticket that simple. just buy and go.

however, i feel that there might be some issues/problems with this?

    1) what if someone has the exact same name as me?

ok, maybe not my name la. but what if you're owning those pretty common names? how? haha!

    2) what if your passport is not at least within that 6 months validity period?

i suppose not all s'poreans are aware that to use your passport, it must be at least 6 months from your expiry date. haha! assume, you dunno or never notice. then you happily go to Changi Airport and realised, shit, my passport is 5 months to the expiry date. haha! how? you obviously can't get your passport renewed on the spot.

usually, airline coys will ask for your passport expiry date, if the date exceeds that 6 months valid period, they won't take your bookings.

well, i reckon Jetstar assumes that everyone knows the 6 months validity fact la. sheesh. but anyway, i informed Jetstar to input my passport details, just in case.

who knows another 'Lee Hui Ting Priscilla' wants to 'steal' my flight how? HAHA! ok, i think too much. =P

will be heading up to Malacca tonight (straight after work). parents gonna be heading up tomorrow morning. haha!

it's been soo long since i somehow 'travelled' with my parents. hurhur.

    3:07 PM

    Wednesday, June 10, 2009

i cancelled my trip to Aussie. well, looking at the swine flu situation in Melbourne, i had decided not to compromise my health/life/safety for it. thank goodness SIA was willing to provide a full refund. i'm happy about that.

so, no more Aussie trip. look at the bright side, i saved money and leave. i ought to be glad. =))

since bf and i are not leaving for Aussie anymore, we're still planning for somewhere else. somewhere cheaper and shorter i suppose? save money and leave! haha!

as of now, we're looking at Siam Reap and perhaps Vietnam. i'm cool with those places, never been there before. experience it! hehe!

oh, i've decided to go on with HK. i'm gonna be the biggest light bulb to light up the whole HK. wahahaha! *agnes B here i come! oops.

i know i'll enjoy HK. hopefully no illness or whatever shit falls on HK sia! tsk. haha!

did an attempt to DIY color my hair yesterday. FAIL attempt again. my hair is still black. ok, i'm giving up. haha! it's either i dun color it, or i just go to a damn salon la! tsk. wanna save money in the end i 'wasted' it. hmmph.

i'm having a sudden craving for BangKok. anyone? hurhur.

why is it only Wed today? sian.

    2:17 PM

    Monday, June 08, 2009

attended a cousin's wedding on friday. there seemed to be quite a few weddings lately. i think have another this Oct. haha!

i brought my camera, but wasn't in the mood to snap. perhaps cause my family are not very 'photo' people. so, i decided to pass it to my cousin's kid, so i supposed she's my niece la? haha! she was like snapping throughout the whole dinner. well, you know kids la, they aren't afraid of paiseh and all. haha!

that's the cousin, the female 1.

    this is my niece.

she took this at 1st. realising that it's blur..

she took another. not bad for a 3+ year old?

then, she wanted to get a pic of me.

    and that's the brother.

    us.

she sure knows how to pose lo.

    haha!

    another~

    and another. HAHAHA. cute leh.

    us again.

she's really a smart kid. guess kids nowadays are getting smarter man. scary. haha!
i hope mine will be smart too. but, please listen to her/his mother! HAHAHA.
MOH has confirmed Melbourne and the State of Victoria to be an affected area. so, it's not advised to go there now. but still, i'm going down la!
if you've the intention to be on 'leave' for 7 days, you can pick me up from the airport when i'm back. HAHAHA.
ok, i'm kidding. wait kena sue lo.
i might be foresaking HK trip. well, 3 couples and the extra me. i'm having 2nd thoughts. ok, we'll see how la.
can't wait for 6pm man. monday blues' killing me. sheesh.

    4:59 PM

    Thursday, June 04, 2009

i left a facebook comment on my craving for macarons.

    guess what.

i had macarons DELIVERED to my house can!

    canele's macarons are great.

    nice can.

    i'm damn touched la.

    guess who was the one!

    bf? nahh..

    it's BFF, ho lili.

damn, sibeh touched. no words to describe sia.

    thank you millions, billions, zillionsss~

    4:49 PM
